On Friday 16th December, we visited our chosen charity Seashell Trust to present them with a cheque for £1,200, just in time for Christmas!
Throughout 2016, we have carried out a range of fundraising activities, from regular volunteering at the Seashell Trust centre to monthly staff and board member donations, and this latest figure takes the total we have raised for the charity to over £3,500! Previous years’ activities include staff taking part in the Manchester 5K Colour Run, and a member of staff dressing up as the Easter bunny delivering presents to students at the trust!
As well as the money that was raised, we also donated a set of sensory toys as an added Christmas gift to the young people at the centre, which will be of great use to the students there going into 2017.

Our previous donations to Seashell Trust have helped contribute towards the creation of a wildlife garden and bird watching area, helping students to learn more about the natural world around them, as well as helping to fund equipment for the new playground at the centre.
Seashell Trust is a charity based nearby to us in Cheadle, and offers education and care to children and young adults with complex learning difficulties all across the UK.
